Quaternized multipolymer with good water solubility and compatible with anionic, cationic, amphoteric and nonionic surfactants. Improves wet and dry combing and conditioning properties of hair products. It provides a moist touch and lubricity to the hair. It is the most commonly used polymer in cosmetics today. It has a great cost-benefit for shampoos, conditioners, hair masks and low-cost liquid soaps.

It is a quaternized multipolymer with affinity for hair and skin keratin. Gives shampoos a conditioning effect, improving dry and wet combing; it gives silky touch and shine to the hair. In shampoos and liquid soaps, it improves foam stability even in hard water. In skin care products it provides hydration and softness.

Suggested use: from 1 to 3%
POLIQUATY 400

Powdered cationic polymer, of natural origin, resulting from the quaternization of hydroxyethylcellulose. Water soluble and compatible with any type of surfactant. It has a lot of substantivity with proteins, thus forming a film on the hair that is not easily removed by water. It is not very accumulative, providing just the right amount of combing and conditioning. In skin care products, it forms an ideal protective film to protect against aggressions caused by friction, as in the case of shaving, favoring hydration and softening.
Administration: Shampoo, conditioners, masks, hair lotions and soaps
Suggested use: from 0.8 to 1.0% provides low
viscosity. Sun. at 2% provides viscosity around 400 cps
